Steven and Chris recognised times were changing, with great shifts occurring on the earth. Understanding In this time of consciousness awakening, the importance of self healing, releasing trauma and pain and unlocking our true potential. In this process they recognised the importance of plant medicines in this role, specifically Kambo. Steven and Chris after receiving Kambo over years and doing much inner healing work individually, trained as Kambo Practitioners.
Kambo has been an integral part of the progression of the Purple Mountain in understand deeper truths. It is a beautiful, loving medicine that mother earth offers to help clear distortions, bring clarity and heal fragmentations. The greatest work anyone can do today is to work on themselves and Kambo is one of those medicines that can assist this process.
Steven and Chris both pride themselves on providing a safe and loving space to serve this medicine with deep respect and gratitude
Kambo is an ancient healing practice used by the indigenous people of South America for thousands of years. Kambo also known as ‘Sapo’ is an Amazonian tree frog, that lives primarily in the tall trees of the amazon rainforest. The relationship between the tribe’s people and Kambo is truly unique. Sharman’s will sing special songs calling up to the tree frogs. The tree frogs will then jump down to greet the shamans and they are harvested safely. The frogs are usually suspended by four sticks which enables the shamans to extract the medicine secretion. The secretion is what we as practitioners use during a Kambo treatment. No frogs are harmed during this process and they are released back to the forest. This special relationship between nature and humans is truly amazing.
Kambo Treatment - What Happens?
Kambo is a powerful and natural healing treatment assisting to purify and cleanse the cells of toxins and stagnant residual energy within the physical body. Kambo works both physically and spiritually releasing, unblocking and clearing the body from trapped emotions, trauma, pain or negative energies. During the serving of the Kambo medicine Steven or Chris will burn various gates on either the arm (males) or the leg (females). Kambo is applied to superficial burns ( Gates) on the skin. A small stick is made red hot and just the top layer of skin is removed the size of a dot, creating what we call a gate . You then to drink 1-2 litres of water during a period of 20 minutes. The water acts itself like a medicine helping to purge and clear the body from toxins during the purging. The Kambo is then applied onto the gate and absorbed into the body. The medicine is placed on different gate points allowing it to work through the lymphatic system, entering into every cell of the body. It is aimed that during the purge, clients are able to safely release and let go. Most clients will experience the purging process in different ways either by: being sick, excessive sweating, bowel movements, crying, or having to go to the toilet. This will slowly pass once the medicine has worked through the body. We encourage clients not fight the medicine, but rather embrace this wonderful self-healing opportunity for the mind, body and spirit. Medicine songs, drumming, singing and rattling maybe used as part of the process. You are in a safe environment so embrace this time to gently allow Kambo to work. Please note Steven or Chris will apply another powerful Amazonian medicine Dragons Blood onto the gates once the ceremony has been completed. This is to ensure further protection and fortification and effective healing of the gates to occur.
Before a Kambo treatment it can be beneficial to look within to recognise patterns, emotions, traumas or behavioural blocks that prevent us from reaching your inner most potential. Kambo is known to be helpful for many health conditions, but it is not guaranteed to help with your specific medical conditions. It can help to empower you to recognise and break free from these blockages and negative energies that stop you living freely, allowing you to reach a state of clarity and deep inner peace. The Spirit of Kambo gives individuals the ability to tap into their own inner strength and wisdom to find the courage to take ownership of their own healing.

Kambo is a very physical experience which involves a feeling of heat in the body usually followed by vomiting and sometimes evacuating from the intestines as the body purges toxins from the various organs. The mind is often made quite clear and focused and some say they receive specific messages. Kambo works mostly to purge the body of toxins and what is called “panema” or a heaviness, dullness of body and spirit. The experience with Kambo is very much like getting sick and the energetic and health benefits that many report usually come in the days and weeks that follow.
After a Kambo treatment its advised to protect yourselves by ensuring you set healthy
boundaries, so that you can naturally integrate and heal.
Please be aware that Kambo can highlight the truth around certain life situations and also bring to the surface unprocessed emotions to be released. Therefore, it is very important to allow ourselves some time to go through the process and allow whatever is to come up to be released naturally
It is normal to go through a healing process after Kambo. This can include emotional release and being triggered. If after 5 days you are still feeling overwhelmed with emotions then you can contact your practitioner to arrange a courtesy phone call.
It is not advised after Kambo to participate in any other medicines, therapies for at least 48
hours after Kambo, give the medicine the space and time to work with you.
Alcohol and recreational drugs are not advised and should be avoided for at least 5 days after
the treatment.

The integration of any plant medicine experience is fundamentally one of the most important parts of the process and sometimes overlooked. Kambo will continue working with you for days and even months after your treatment. Once you have made that connection, it is made for a life time. Be mindful that you may be trigged by family members, partners and even friends and work colleagues. Try and not react but rather observe situations that arise around you. Kambo will bring clarity to your integration but Kambo will also assist you facing your fears, loops and false belief systems.
